xinggang luo received his msc. and ph.d. degree both from the northeastern university. he was a visiting scholar at the university of calgary and a research fellow at the hong kong polytechnic university. his research interests are operations management, new product development and quality management. he is an author of more than 100 publications. he was the principal investigator of 16 research projects including grants of national science foundation of china, new century excellent talents of moe, ibm sur and some manufacture companies.
